Life of Mine was the name given to the Sishen Mine Project and it accurately depicts what this project is about. The Haul Trucks used to transport all the iron ore including overburden is ultimately “the life of the mine” and therefore a great need developed to insure a proper facility to repair and maintain these “Huge Monsters” The facility for the haul trucks needed to have positive sealing qualities, due to the extreme environmental conditions of high temperatures and high wind speeds.
Keeping critical components dust-free, insuring better repair and installation of components to haul trucks and overall reducing the breakdown turnaround time. The doors to be used were to be rugged and reliable, which require minimum maintenance to ensure very little downtime. The doors installed to provide a safe and comfortable working environment.
